Saxonville Mills 200th Anniversary Celebration Sept. 20-21

There will be a cocktail party on Friday night and a free, community-wise carnival on Saturday.

FRAMINGHAM - Saxonville Mills will celebrate its 200th anniversary on Friday night Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21.

Saturday the 21st features a free, Mill-wide open house and carnival from 11 am to 3 pm including food trucks, games, crafts, and more outdoors in the courtyard. Many artists with studios in the Mill are also expected to be open and hosting demonstrations, sales, and/or events.

The celebration kicks off Friday night with a cocktail party including live music, food, drinks, and a silent auction in the courtyard Sept. 20 from 6 to 9 pm for those 21 and over. Tickets are required, and portions of the sales will be donated to local organizations Why Not Devin, Daniel’s Table, and Friends of Framingham Trails.

Tickets cost $120 to $400; discounts are available for city employees and teachers as well as tenants of the mill by contacting margaretcreativeco@gmail.com.
