The historic Saxonville Mills complex is gearing up for a bicentennial bash that will include an outdoor cocktail party with live music on Sept. 20 and open studios + carnival on the 21st.
“This year is the 200th anniversary of the Saxonville Mills and we look forward to celebrating this milestone!” according to the April edition of the Saxonville Mills Newsletter.
“We will be releasing more information as it gets closer, but for now save the date. . . .”
The cocktail party with live music is planned for Friday, Sept 20, 6 to 9 pm in the courtyard. This will be for ages 21 and over, and money from tickets sold will be donated to charity.
Open Studios and Carnival are on the calendar for Saturday, September 21, 11 am to 4 pm. This will be free to the public, similar to other open studio events “but with more food and entertainment for kids,” the newsletter said.
Saxonville Mills is located at Central and Concord Streets.
