The DPW recently posted a memo from design consultants VHB responding to one issue brought up at the March meeting: the fact that there will not be a dedicated right-turn lane northbound on Edgell Road. That memo did not discuss the lack of dedicated bicycle lanes or better sidewalk landscaping, which community members also raised.

Separately, the DPW announced that Eversource will continue its gas main replacement project on Edgell Road the week of June 6. “Expect moderate delays,” according to the DPW announcement. “Lane shifts and/or a one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.”
