The countdown is on! Tomorrow night, the Cochituate Rail Trail transforms into a winter wonderland for our third annual New Year’s Eve celebration. This is a free, family-friendly event, and we can’t wait to see the trail glowing with community spirit.

Back for its third year - New Years Eve on the Cochituate Rail Trail! This year we have more Fire Pits, more lighting, more activities and are looking forward to a very festive event!

What’s in Store This Year?

We’ve taken everything you loved about the last two years and made it even bigger. Get ready for:

More Fire Pits: Warm up and gather ’round at various stations.
More Lights: We’ve added even more lighting to guide your way.
Tasty Treats & Giveaways: Our wonderful fire pit hosts are preparing snacks, surprises, and entertainment to keep the festive vibes going.
A Growing Tradition: After two years of incredible crowds and neighborly cheers, this year promises to be our most vibrant yet!

Event Details

When: Tomorrow, December 31st | 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Where: Across the entire Framingham stretch of the Cochituate Rail Trail.
The Trail Connection: Feeling ambitious? Our neighbors at the Friends of Natick Trails are hosting their own celebration just a quarter-mile down the path in Natick!It’s a perfect night for a festive stroll between towns.

Join the Revelry!

Ring in the New Year under the stars with friends, family, and neighbors. We encourage everyone to “deck themselves out”—bring your glow sticks, wear your festive hats, and help us light up the night!
